Acceptance of articles for the fifth issue of the Philology and Cultural Studies book series, published annually by the Karabük University Cengiz Aytmatov Turkic World Application and Research Center, has begun.
The series is an international scientific publication featuring academic studies on the language, literature, history, culture, art, education, and social structure of the Turkic world. Contributions are welcome from researchers from the Turkic Republics and other countries.
Publication Topics
Original research articles related to the following fields are accepted:
- Turkish language and dialects
- Classical and modern Turkish literature
- Comparative literary studies
- Linguistics, lexicography, and textual analysis
- Cultural studies and cultural heritage
- History, art, and civilization of the Turkic world
- Folklore, mythology, and oral tradition
- Contemporary cultural practices and sociocultural analyses
- Educational sciences, cultural diplomacy, and social studies
Writing Principles
- Articles are accepted in all Turkic written languages and English.
- Studies must not have been previously published.
- Authors may use any citation system (APA, Chicago, etc.) and transcription system they wish, provided they are internally consistent.
- Each article must include a Turkish and English abstract and keywords in addition to the abstract in the language in which it was written.
- The similarity rate must not exceed 20%.
Submission and Review Process
Submitted articles will undergo a double-blind peer-review process.
The Editorial Board reserves the right to accept or reject them for publication.
Necessary corrections may be requested from the author based on the reviewer reports.
