KBÜ and UNIEP Sign an Academic Cooperation Protocol
Karabük University (KBÜ) and the University of Economics and Pedagogy (UNIEP) of Uzbekistan have signed a protocol to strengthen academic and scientific cooperation between the two institutions.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) covers cooperation in education, research, student and academic staff exchange programs, joint scientific projects, and academic events.

As part of the protocol process, Dr. Ötkirbek Madumarov from the University of Economics and Pedagogy visited Karabük University and presented the signed document, authorized by Rector To’lanboy Razzaqov, to Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kırışık of Karabük University. With both parties’ signatures, the protocol officially initiated a new stage of academic partnership between the two universities.



Strengthening Academic Cooperation in the Turkic World

In the first part of his visit, Dr. Madumarov met with KBÜ International Relations Coordinator Lecturer Adnan Ucur to discuss ongoing collaborations and explore new joint projects.

During the program, he also met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saidbek Boltabayev, Director of the Cengiz Aytmatov Turkish World Application and Research Center. The meeting focused on expanding academic cooperation networks among Turkic universities and increasing joint scientific and cultural activities.

Dr. Madumarov additionally visited the Karabük University Continuing Education Application and Research Center (KASEM) to receive information about the center’s ongoing programs and initiatives.



Joint Seminars, Congresses, and Workshops to Be Organized

In the final part of the visit, Dr. Madumarov met with KBÜ Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Elif Çepni. The meeting resulted in an agreement to carry out joint research projects, strengthen student and staff exchange programs, and organize joint seminars, congresses, and workshops.
