A talk titled “Homonyms in Chagatai Literature” was held in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences building, delivered by Prof. Dr. Rihsitilla Alimuhamedov, a guest scholar from Uzbekistan Oriental University. The event was jointly organized by the Karabük University Chingiz Aytmatov Center for the Turkic World Application and Research (ATAM) and the Department of Turkish Language and Literature of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
The program was attended by Prof. Dr. Muhittin Kapanşahin, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Çınar, Vice Dean; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammet İnce, Head of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saidbek Boltabayev, Director of ATAM; faculty members Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nimet Kara Kütükçü, Dr. Nesrin Gezici, and Dr. Elif Gizem Karaoğlu Kirenli; as well as numerous graduate and undergraduate students.
During his presentation, Prof. Dr. Alimuhamedov offered an in-depth examination of the use of homonyms in Chagatai literature. He highlighted notable examples from the works of classical poets such as Lutfi, Navayi, and Ubeydi, and engaged participants through an interactive discussion supported by textual analysis.

At the conclusion of the program, a certificate of appreciation was presented to Prof. Dr. Alimuhamedov by Prof. Dr. Muhittin Kapanşahin, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, in recognition of his valuable contributions. The event ended with a group photo.
