Announcement of the International Symposium "The Literary Legacy of Nizami and Navayi"

“The Literary Legacy of Nizami and Navayi: The Harmony of Artistic Imagery and Human Philosophy”

An international scientific and applied symposium will be organized in partnership with Karabük University Cengiz Aytmatov Turkish World Application and Research Center, and hosted by Kokand University of the Republic of Uzbekistan, to commemorate the 885th anniversary of the birth of Nizami Ganjavi and the 585th anniversary of the birth of Ali Shir Navayi.
 
The symposium, which will be held at Kokand University on February 12, 2026, will be titled:
“The Literary Legacy of Nizami and Navayi: The Harmony of Artistic Imagery and Human Philosophy”.
 
The symposium will examine the artistic thought, human philosophy, understanding of perfection, and concepts of love and spirituality found in the works of Nizami Ganjavi and Ali Shir Navayi, two major representatives of classical Eastern literature, within the framework of modern scientific approaches. Furthermore, the place of these two great thinkers in world literature and their mutual interactions will be evaluated.
 
The symposium will be held under the following main headings:
 
  • Artistic imagery system in the works of Nizami and Navayi
  •  
  • Human philosophy and understanding of perfection
  •  
  • Comparative studies on the works of Nizami and Navayi
  •  
  • Socio-philosophical thoughts in the works
  •  
  • The legacy of Nizami and Navayi in the context of world literature

Participation Requirements:
Participation in the symposium is free of charge. Accepted papers will be published in the symposium book, and participants will receive certificates.
